So, after you’ve carefully thought about the different feeds and feed formats you’re going to offer potential subscribers, please help aggregators find them by adding a link rel=alternate tag to your site’s head.

    You might not want to announce all such feeds on every page, and that’s okay. A feed of your most recent blog posts isn’t exactly an alternate version of, e.g., a specific static page, after all. Although I’m not sure to what extent that “rule” is valid, still, if at all. https://www.petefreitag.com/item/384.cfm
