Updated “Share on Twitter.” It now supports the v2 API, except for image uploads, which always use the v1.1 API (and thus require “Elevated access”). I also updated my “add-on mu-plugin,” which ensures notes are crossposted _in full_, to recognize replies to tweets (and attempt to _tweet an actual reply_). Had to create a dummy account—I don’t actually use Twitter—to test this. Registering as a developer, creating an app and generating the correct tokens surely got a little bit harder, still. (Almost like they’re trying to discourage people creating their own API clients.)
