Recently found a CD I’d burned twenty or so years ago, by a local band that broke up before it was properly released. Got the songs off mp3.com (in a measly 128 kbps, obviously), where they had put them up for free. (They’re long gone, of course; haven’t been able to find them anywhere.) Physical copies rock.

@jan.boddez.net I agree, I still have all my old physical copies, along with safe multiple copies of my digital purchases. That’s the only way to ensure I never lose a song. Plus, nobody will mess up with my albums and playlists 🙂
