Ah, just noticed (1) me using the Post Author block’s “by” prefix is messing up my h-card microformats, and (2) somehow IndieBlocks fetches a title (for use in a reply context, in this case) even for notes.
I see the number of unread posts in my reader jump by a few hundred, I just know one of you web devs has rebuilt their site.
Casual reminder: It’s perfectly fine to only keep the most recent 20 or so posts in your RSS feed. No need to go back all the way to 2009. (Looking at you, SSG folk.)
Share on Mastodon used to rely on (only) the transition_post_status hook to kick off a request to Mastodon’s API. Then Gutenberg came.
Wow. For a moment there, I didn’t think it’d be this simple, but I seem to have found a way to “dynamically replace” a Post Excerpt block with a Post Content block.
Why? So I can show excerpts for most posts, and the full content for “notes” (a custom post type). In, e.g., search results or tag archives.
