Bye, Dual Boot

I just got rid of my laptop’s Ubuntu partition. I hadn’t booted to it in over six months—had even forgotten my admin password—and never really figured out why it would often hang on shutdown or how to get rid of the speaker pop on startup.

Of note: my music gear and Digital Audio Workstation don’t quite like Linux, so I’m always going to have Windows around.

Doesn’t mean I never use Linux, though: Bash ‘on Ubuntu on Windows’ gets spun up nearly daily, as does my Xubuntu VM. Turns out running Linux within Windows is just, well, very convenient.
